Arthur Hacker’s gorgeous paintings.
We dearly missed the days when women were dressed pretty and modestly, and stayed at home to raise a family. Fortunately, paintings from the past allow us to hark back to those wistful days when women were truly women: quiet, modest, genteel, and happily acquiescent to men.

I just wanted to say that the whole stepford wife thing is a fantastic idea
I hope to marry a woman who would be excellent stepford wife material. I’ll also get her to start a local chapter here in Canberra. I’m an anti-feminist (and I know you all are not). There’s an excellent book i’ve read recently called “The flipside of feminism”.. I urge you to take a look at this book. It’s written by Phyllis Schlafly and her niece Suzanne Venker

Lady Lydia Sherman over at homeliving.blogspot.com also features many beautiful paintings of women in days gone by. The colors, the dresses, the artistic vision is not to be missed.
